Therapy for Men

So many men believe that therapy isn’t for them.

I get it! Therapy is not always tailored to men, but I am determined to change that.

Unlike the cry fest you’ve seen in movies, this work is part individual processing, part relationship boot camp, and mainly fun.

Men need therapy, but therapy needs to meet men where they are. So often, therapy feels like a “call out” that includes a list of the things you need to fix and the wrongs you need to make right.

My approach to therapy does not call you out on your mistakes; I’m here calling you in because you deserve more. Here, therapy is an invitation, not a punishment.

Therapy for men is about challenging and rebuilding yourself.

In these sessions, I help you unlock the very best of you by normalizing your emotional experience. Together, we create meaningful growth by having new experiences with vulnerability.

Therapy becomes a sandbox for unlearning outdated stories, trying new ways of opening up, and building trust.

While therapy is always focused on self-discovery and healing, as a relationship therapist, I never forget how to improve one’s connections and learn how to relate to coworkers, friends, partners, and family.

We practice emotional availability and develop comfort with vulnerability to ensure that relationships are transformed.

My secret weapons are humor and knowing my shit.

I’ve often been asked why I think I’m qualified to speak on men’s issues, and my answer is plain and simple. “I don’t plan to speak that much; great therapists create enough safety for YOU to open up and speak!” I want to hear from you!

At Emotional Algebra, I’ve ditched the office, the books, and the homework. I’ve gone virtual; been called a “swearapist”; leaned into humor and joy; picked up a lot of niche music, sports, and pop culture references; and am on the front lines to challenge the rigid stories you have to tell.

Guys, I am here for you if you are ready to address the issues you keep buried inside.
